Louise is a mixed media artist originally from the south coast, currently residing in Croatia. Growing up surrounded by England’s wildlife and coastal scenery, she has always been inspired by flora and fauna and other natural delights of the world. During her studies at university, she became drawn to the style of art nouveau and how colour can determine the emotion of a piece. 

 

She predominantly works with watercolour and gouache paints to create both realistic and expressive depictions of wildlife. Louise also enjoys playing with new materials and has recently been experimenting with of lino cutting, photography and creating tattoo designs. 

 

Louise is now spending the summer season teaching windsurfing and paddleboarding, two of her other hobbies, on a beautiful beach in Croatia.
